Birders:
Kent, Bill, Glenn, and I walked around campus in beautiful, overcast 63 degree weather. Very pleasant. Bird numbers were about as expected for this time of year = 15.

Birders:
Bill, Ashish, and I walked around in very pleasant weather (about 63F and overcast) but didn't see a lot of birds. Unless someone can add to this, this is what we got:

Birders:
Ashish, Kent, Bill, and I strolled aroud a campus full of noise and jotted down 17 species. It was sunny and about 78F. The highlights were the Red-masked Parakeets and the Cooper's Hawk that I think had just nabbed something. The low-light was seeing a big tree in the park being cut down.

Glenn and Ashish walked under calm, pleasant (69-71) conditions. There
were soccer players on north field, levellers on south field and
tree-cutters in tournament park (which we could not enter). We saw:

Scrub Jay
Northern Mockingbird
Mourning Dove
Red masked Parakeet
Jon, do you have anything to add from your lunch walk? If you saw two or
more that are not on this list, I vote that starting next Tuesday we walk
the entire hour to and fro on your lunch walk.
